Gary L. Stith, 68, of Camdenton, formerly of Arrow Rock, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at Arrow Rock Federated Church in Arrow Rock, with Rev. Jack Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Arrow Rock Cemetery. Born Nov. 7, 1939, in Jefferson City, he was the son of the late Robert H. Stith and Ruby Clara Henley Stith. On Aug. 18, 1961, he married Joyce Gotmer, who survives of the home. He had lived in Camdenton since 2005, also living in Arrow Rock, Manchester, Marshall and Omaha, Neb. He was a member of Arrow Rock Federated Church and Elks Lodge in Camdenton.
Additional survivors include his five children, Cheryl Coleman of Defiance, Kelli Massarand of St. Charles, Darryl Stith of O'Fallon, Shea Stith of Chesterfield and Mark Stith of St. Charles; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, William R. "Bob" Stith of rural Arrow Rock and Steve Stith of Richmond; two sisters, Ellen Laxson of Marshall and Elaine Breshears of Arrow Rock; and nieces and nephews.
