Marjorie R. "Margie" Haney, 86, of Marshall, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at Marshall Habilitation Center in Marshall.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will also be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Gerber Chapel in Webster Groves. Private graveside services will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to Marshall Habilitation Center Parent Association. Born Sept. 11, 1921, in Obion, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Ledbetter Haney and Effie May Dildy Haney. She had lived at Marshall Habilitation Center since 1932 and enjoyed going for car rides and being outside. The family appreciates the care and compassion given to her over the years by Marshall Habilitation Center.
Survivors include one brother, Buddy R. Haney and his wife, Clarice, of Millstadt, Ill.; two nephews; five nieces; along with several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Taylor Haney and his wife, Lois, and one niece.
