Christopher Lee "Stoffen" Sullivant

Christopher Lee Sullivant, 29, of Westwood, KS, passed away May 26, 2008, from a heart condition.

"Stoffen," as he was affectionately called by his family, struggled against difficult odds during his life with courage and persistence. He faced life's challenges with a smile on his face and a soda in his hand. Chris worked at the Westwood Apple Market where he was loved and supported by both staff and management. He will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit and his generous heart. He will be missed immensely by his family and many people who worked with him in a variety of ways and whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his parents, Pat and Sherry Sullivant and a sister Shayla Sullivant Dehaemers. A visitation and a prayer service will be held Wed. May 28th at the Amos Chapel of Shawnee, 10901 Johnson Dr. from 6 to 8 p.m. with the Prayer service starting at 7 p.m. A Catholic burial mass will be celebrated Thurs. May 29th at Guardian Angels Church, 1310 Westport Rd at 10 a.m.

Donations may be made in honor of Chris to L'Arche Community, P.O. Box 40493, Overland Park, KS 66204. L'Arche is a community that supports disabled adults and Chris has been known to say when he did activities with them that he was a "Wanna be L'Archen."
