Georgia Page Clouse, 91, of Edmond, Okla., formerly of Marshall, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at The Fountains at Canterbury in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home; with visitation to follow until 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church or to a charity of the donor's choice. Born Sept. 30, 1916, in Nelson, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Ballard and Mary Maude Thomas Ballard. On Feb. 14, 1936, she married C.D. Page Jr., who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1948. On July 12, 1952, in Marshall, she married Henry M. "Heinie" Clouse, who preceded her in death on June 6, 1995. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where she was formerly a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She had lived in Edmond since 2003, moving from Marshall. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and had worked at A&P Grocery Store, International Shoe Company, Lake City Arsenal, JC Penney and 4-Square Sale Barn. She was a porcelain artist and taught china painting classes. She also did many other types of handicraft work.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Friedberg of Edmond; three granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Wilson and Gertrude Pittman.
