On page 3: A story with photo about the Daughters of 1812 chapter honoring long-time organization member Darlene Brownfield Peters.

On page 4: A letter to the editor from Billy Thiel offering counterarguments against anti-ethanol information. Also columns by local ag writer Marcia Gorrell lauding the accomplishments of are FFA students and syndicated columnist Morton Kondracke asserting that President Bush's visit to Israel could help prevent war with Iran.
