The Panthers benefitted from six errors for seven unearned runs, including four boots in the 10-run fourth inning. Terry capped the rally with a two-out, two-run single -- his second hit of the frame. Sophomore Derek Henke and freshman Marcus Linebaugh also drove in runs with hits.
The Wildcats scored in the top of the first on senior Kyle Durham's single. However, Henke blanked Slater over the next three frames, until his team had built a whopping lead. The 'Cats tallied twice in the fifth on freshman Ethan Owens' single.
Sophomore Josh Roling had three hits and scored four runs and sophomores Miles Weimer and John Roling each crossed the plate three times for Salisbury (5-8, 1-2 L&C), which enjoyed its most productive offensive performance of the season.
Slater (1-10, 0-3) is scheduled to host Keytesville on Friday.
