MoDOT begins asphalt patching work on U.S. 65

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced that asphalt-patching operations began on U.S. Highway 65 in Saline County Monday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. and will be completed Friday, May 2, at 4:30 p.m.

The repairs will begin at the Lafayette county line and continue east, ending at Business Route 65, according to MoDOT officials.

During the project traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and pay close attention when traveling in the work zone. This project is weather dependent and could be delayed.
