Connie Sue Heaper, 56, of Marshall, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at her sister's home in rural Sweet Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Vernon Maxted officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Born July 14, 1951, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Fred Davis and Catherine Boyd Davis. She lived in Marshall most of her life and was a graduate of Marshall High School. She was a nurse's aide for Mid-Mo Home Care and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Heaper of Marshall; one son, Steven Heaper of Warsaw; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Shirley Mullins of rural Sweet Springs and Brenda Davis of Marshall; one brother, Frederick Davis of rural Sweet Springs; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, one daughter, Patricia Heaper Tresler, preceded her in death.
