James Ray "Jim" Gifford, 43, of Marshall, died Monday, April 15, 2008, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Bethlehem Cemetery at Marshall Junction. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born July 8, 1964, in Kansas City, he was the son of James Edward Gifford of Boonville and Patsy Gifford Hartwig of Blackburn. On July 8, 2005, he married Teresa Lyn Viles, who survives of the home. He had lived in Saline County most of his life and was a 1982 graduate of Marshall High School. He had worked at ConAgra, Quinn Concrete and MFA Feed in Marshall and was also a bricklayer in Utah. He was a member of Waverly United Methodist Church in Waverly.
Additional survivors include two sons, Brandon Viles and Cody Mikels, both of Marshall; one stepson, Blake McCoy of Marshall; one brother, Jerry Gifford of Boonville; and several nieces and nephews.
