Lacey Mae Barton, 92, of Gravois Mills, died Monday, April 14, 2008, in Gravois Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Dave Huck officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House. Born June 17, 1915, in Napton, she was the daughter of the late Ira Jap Holden and Sara Jane Dennis Holden. On April 2, 1938, in Clinton, she married Roland S. Barton, who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1998. She had lived in Gravois Mills since 2001, moving from Sedalia, and previously lived in Pattonsburg. She and her husband owned and operated Western Auto Store in Pattonsburg for 27 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sedalia.
Survivors include one son, Gary Barton of Reno, Nev.; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; one son-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carole Lee Wise, and one brother, Claude Holden.
