The revoked bond was for $25,000 cash or surety. The new bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety, according to court officials.
George faces six felony drug-related charges. He had been free on bond after being arrested last summer.
Saline County Prosecuting Attorney Don Stouffer asked the court to revoke George's bond in March after two other Gilliam residents -- Danny England and Shelly L. Ousley -- were arrested on felony drug charges.
England was apprehended by law enforcement officers at George's residence.
George subsequently failed a drug test. Passing random drug tests were a condition of his bond.
Midyett set a number of conditions on the new bond. George has a curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., must report every three days for drug testing, must submit to random drug testing by order of any law enforcement officer or court, must avoid alcohol and drugs and must have no contact with convicted felons or anyone with pending felony charges, court officials said.
A jury trial has been scheduled for Nov. 4 and 5.

There are people that are in and out of jail and rehab their whole lives. Are you saying that we should just keep sending them to rehab? When do we finally say enough is enough and keep these drug and alcohol abusers behind bars? I have to say CONGRATULATIONS to the people who make it through rehab and keep their life straight. But come on, it is not going to work for everyone and I think its time for you to stop kidding yourself!
Ok people some of your comments really make me upset. I am all for putting bad people in jail. But drug use is a problem yes it is against the law but I dont belive that jail is the place for them. This a problem that these people need help with. It is called an addiction just like somes addiction is smoking, drinking or for that matter caffine. You can not just stop using you have to have help in learning how to beat the cravings. Jail is not the place for that. It may help for a bit and stop the use for awhile but if they dont get the help that is needed yes they are going to go right back to using. I have a very close family member of mine that had a meth addiction, it took her 4 months in jail sentenced to rehab where she stayed for 3 months. She was clean for a few years then her cravings got so bad she could not handel it. so she went back to jail and then back to rehab. She is now since 8 years drug free and doing very well for herself it is called her family stood beside her no matter how mad and upset we where with her decisions she made. So in return I think instead of locking these people up and throwing the key away we should help them see the light of day and get them through their addictions.
Supportem....you don't want to support people...you want to lock them up and throw away the key...thats the dumbest comment I have ever seen on here. Look at the number of people who have turned there life around because of rehab...and then look at the number changing because of prison...prison is not rehab....and it cost more for a person to be in prison than in rehab. Last time I checked there are more non-profit rehabs than there are jails. You would be singing another tune if it was your kid doing the drugs. Then and only then would you see that the drugs are the problem...take that away from most drug addicts and you have a good human being.
Are you kidding me?? Rehab! Half of the people we have clogging our judical system now have been to rehab several times and they haven't learned. And by the way, at the end of it all, your tax dollars are paying for their rehab. Lock them up and throw away the key! Keep them away from or children.
Ok for all of you who are sitting here saying that we need to get this crim off the streets you don't really know what's going on with our system. Everytime you are revoking someone's bond and throwing drug users back in jail you are crowding our prision systems even more. Haven't you ever thought that these people need help. They need rehab they don't need to be thrown back in prison where our tax money is being spent. And we are building more and more everyday because we already have over crowded prisons. Wouldn't you rather the people who murder be in those prisons instead of people who you might be able to help. If you don't help them they go to prison get out and it's the same cycle all over again.
because of the outrage this is happening.....dont praise those who do what they should do people.........
Yea Yea Yea, Just because you haven't been busted yet doesn't mean anything! Take this town back from the Criminals? Right, what ever Marshall is 90% Criminals and 5% Whiners and 5% goody goodys. There was a chief of Police who beat his wife. Did anyone do anything about it? NO! At least Wally isn't showing his son any special treatment. Saline county has a Dang Good sheriff and we could only hope to keep him longer! Grow up and act like Adults!
P.S. Did you need to have the whole post in all caps?
Well I'm glad to see this happen, george is no different than any other meth user. Its sad that we had to get a judge from another county to do this but it is makeing a difference. Althou I believe he shound not be able to post bond at all, he had a chance and chose to break the law again. Lets take missouri back and get rid of these type of people. Thank you judge and the prosecuter, lets make a safe place for our kids to live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ITS ABOUT TIME THEY PUT THERE FOOT DOWN TO THESE LOSERS AROUND HERE THANKS JUDGE!!!
