John L. Gallagher

John L. Gallagher, 50, of Stover, formerly of Slater, died Friday, March 21, 2008, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Cremation. Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Rev. Penny Smith will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Born May 30, 1957, in Kansas City, Kan., he was the son of the late George and Shirley Shaw Gallagher. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a foundation construction worker.

He is survived by two sons, Brent Gallagher of Holden and Dennis Gallagher of Lebanon; three brothers, George Gallagher of Jefferson City, Kenneth Gallagher of Kansas City and William Gallagher of Marshall; and three grandchildren.
