A 19-year-old Marshall women suffered moderate injuries Friday, March 21, when she lost control of her pickup truck on Route D two miles north of Highway 41.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Stephanie R. Bundy was northbound at about 6:48 p.m. when her vehicle went off the right side of the road. She apparently overcorrected and the vehicle went off the left side of the road and overturned, ejecting her, troopers said.

Bundy was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by air ambulance, according to the report.

She was not wearing a safety belt, according to the report.

Deputies from the Saline County Sheriff's Department and emergency responders from the Slater Fire Department provided assistance at the scene.
