Beverly J. Creason, 90, of Polo, died at 1:06 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Polo First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in South Point Cemetery, near Orrick. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Polo Nutrition Center or Polo Baptist Church.
She was born Dec. 26, 1917, in Fleming, to Olie and Adra Olive (Orr) Johnson. She married Harold Robert Creason of Orrick on March 3, 1936; he preceded her in death on April 2, 1986. She worked for Fowler Bus Line as a bus driver for 25 years. She also sold Stanley Home products for 25 years. She was a 1936 graduate of Camden High School. She was a member of Missouri Bowling Hall of Fame and Polo First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, John G. Creason and his wife, Wilma, of Excelsior Springs; three daughters, Marsha Kincaid and her husband, Larry, of Polo, Olinda Cash and her husband, Lloyd, of Fayette and Olive Malter and her husband, Don, of Marshall; one brother, Andrew O. Johnson of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Jonna and Tim Yates, David Creason, Paul and Tammy Rowland, Pamella and B.J. Jones, Mary J. Kincaid, Donna and Aaron Miller, and Leslie Malter; six great-grandchildren, Amber and Dustin Borchert, Mikala Rowland, Robert Rowland, Sean Rowland, Rosa Jones and Caleb Miller; and two great-great-grandchildren, Collin and Carter Borchert.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Robin Denise McKinney.
