Earl E. "Bud" Doud, 51, of Marshall, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Rev. Randy Huff will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Matt Charlton, Bobby Goodman, Charlie Goodman, Franky Goodman, Steve Huff and Jammie Smithey. A memorial has been established to American Liver Foundation in care of Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1957, in Sedalia, the son of the late Edward F. Doud and Maxine Huff Doud Combs, who survives of Marshall. He was a resident of Marshall for most of his life. He was employed at International Shoe Company for many years and Marshall Habilitation Center for several years.
Additional survivors include his companion, Jessie Edde of the home; one daughter, Katie Gaddy of Marshall; four sisters, Phyllis Plains, Vicki Surber and Wanda Money, all of Marshall, and Helen Bueker of Knob Noster; three grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather James E. Combs.
