Barbara Colleen Gorman Kalthoff, 81, of Waverly, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at noon, Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the home of her son, Robin Kalthoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Apple Ridge Care Center or Saline Animal League in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Grand Pass, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Gorman and Teresa Rohn Gorman. On July 10, 1945, in Marshall, she married Richard Kalthoff, who preceded her in death on June 22, 1995. She had lived in Branson the last 25 years, returning to Waverly in 2007.
Survivors include her four children, Rick Kalthoff of Waverly, Tonya Lemonds of Kansas City, Kan., Robin Kalthoff of Grand Pass and Heidi Kalthoff of Waverly; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry Gorman of Jamestown; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Theodore Kalthoff; one brother, Jack Gorman; and three sisters, Eileen Kemp, Jenny Thorp and Bert Wade.
