Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow and Rev. Cliff Cato officiating. Visitation was held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial was in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born Feb. 25, 1944, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Homer Garrison and Velma Mae Arnold Garrison. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and was a licensed practical nurse, beautician and reflexologist. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Survivors include one son, John Tennill and his fiancé, Franny Mikels, of Unionville; one brother, Jerry Garrison and his wife, Joyce, of Marshall; two nieces, Theresa Brooks and Laura Cassidy; and one great-nephew, Kevin Brooks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeannie Tennill.
