Police, fire marshal seek info about Porky's II fire

The Marshall Police Department and the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Officee are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed the building at 3330 W. Arrow St. -- formerly Porky's II restaurant and bar.

The fire was reported at about 6:25 p.m. Saturday, March 8.

Officials are asking anyone who has information about any suspicious vehicles in the area of the fire or any other information to contact the Marshall Police Department at 660-886-7411 or call the state Arson Hotline at 800-392-7766.

The fire marshal's official provides a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any subject involved in an arson case, according to police.

  • I wonder if we will be seeing more of this if the economy continues to waffle, particularly the real estate situation.
