A 30-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday, March 11, and was held at the Saline County Justice Center early Wednesday, according to the report.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in Gilliam shortly after noon Wednesday, March 12, in connection with the same investigation, according to George.
Seven deputies, with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Missouri Conservation Department and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, discovered more than 90 grams of methamphetamine, according to the report.
Law enforcement officers also discovered a John Deere Bobcat worth an estimated $16,000 that was reported stolen in Lafayette County, a video surveillance system, more than 20 guns, a large amount of ammunition and equipment and materials commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine, George said.
"We have been making a case on this lab for several weeks," George said.
Investigation of several other suspected drug labs in the area is continuing, George said.

I could, and would post names here, or also turn them over to law enforcement, but I feel like these people are good people, even though they may not have made the best choices, and I don't want to ruin their lives.
With my posts, and others replies, my points have been made.
I accused 2 people who are guilty of wrong doing, at least one of which has seen my posts here.
If you cant understand the way things are written maybe you should try to take a reading comprehension class somewhere. People get upset because they don't want to know the truth if its not what they want to believe.
Well do I need to spell it out?? I agreed- that it was a waste of your time to be writing your post- and a waste of everyone elses to be reading it.
I never agreed with your "comment" about the MHS teachers. But when you don't have the gaul to state who they are- you are accusing the entire faculty in my eyes and seems a lot of others as well. As I said before- take it where something can be done about it.
It's easy to accuse someone on a blog where no one knows who you are- could you do it face to face? Doubt it.
PRD123, your post makes no sense, you agree with me in the beginning and then say maybe, because i saw it I was involved.
Also, I NEVER stated all MHS teachers use meth, I said "How about the Marshall High School teachers who use meth? People should look beyond the typical drug user."
Let me rephrase that before I get butchered for stating the wrong screen name......... JUSTME4NOW!
I agree with you Johndoe- this is a waste of your time and everyone elses to be reading accusations of the sort.
Whey don't you and "JUST4ME NOW" show some class and take your evidence to someone who can do something about it, that is if you have any, and quit implicating it's the entire staff of MHS. If you two have personally SEEN it-maybe you're just as guilty and were involved as well.....
Johndoe, I wish I would have had the guts you have to make that comment. I too have seen it. And you hit the nail on the head. Just because they have "good" jobs noone ever suspects them of wrong doing. But it is very true and as long as people keep their eyes closed the drug problems in Marshall will continue. I have never been one to do drugs or drink for that matter but I have had family members who have struggled with those issues and thank God they have overcome their addictions. I worked in the school system at one time in which they didn't even do drug screenings. What's with that? It is my humble opinion that anyone employed by any and all professions should be tested before hired and have random drug screenings. And I am not talking about once every other year. I know my head will be on the chopping block here because everyone will say that will cost too much and my question would be. What value do you put on one's life? That being the one addicted or the one the addicted may be abusing. It would be a heck of a lot cheaper than housing one in rehabilitation or prison. We could even make everyone pay for their own screenings so the the employers would not be out any money. I know I would be willing to pay for mine. Think of it this way...it would be a little something they take out every month just like taxes. Please don't butcher me. Thank you for your time.
I have personally SEEN it. I'm sure people won't believe me, which is why this is a waste of time for me to write this. I know of two people in the MHS administration, between the teachers, counselors, and principals, that use meth. But just like my post is infuriating to you, it bothers me that people, obviously even the editor of this news paper, want to believe that people seen doing "good" jobs or working at a school, police station, hospital, or any other position similar are free of drugs and helpful to our community. Justice will never be served here and meth will never be gone because people refuse to open their eyes.
In other words, that kind of claim probably should be forwarded to law enforcement officials with specific information they can use, not announced publicly without supporting evidence.
Granny, the errors clearly were not typos.
Everyone wants to talk about meth users in Marshall, How about the Marshall High School teachers who use meth? People should look beyond the typical drug user.
Johndoe, Would you like to teach an English class to all of us uneducated people? Have you ever heard of making a mistake while typing? Even the newspaper has made typos. I don't think your comment was necessary.
amh, It seems to me justlori is trying to suggest alternative forms of rehabilitation rather than what we have now. You say there is no point in rehab for these people, What is your option? Kill them all? lock them up in prison for years costing tax payers millions? Some other form of help needs to be found for these people.
It seems people in here are uneducated on the matter and overall, uneducated period. Spelling and grammar errors run thick here.
Justlori I Dont agree with you!! I know tons of people that have tried the rehab it doesnt work!!! They choose to take the drugs, pills, or whatever habbit they choose... its not fair to use that our kids have to be brought up into this kinda of environment when these losers know better then to make the meth labs!!! So i have no sympathy for them!! They knew what they were doing so they need to hit up the prison no buts!!!!! As for the people who work and still do the drugs and make the meth labs im sure there time will come!! but these people who were caught are the ones that have been in trouble in the past so i dont see no point in rehab.. All they will do is set back and laugh and say well got out of that one once again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am amazed at the judgemental attitude of the people responding on this topic. First of all it appears that everyone with a drug addiction is labeled a 'bad' person, and have no worth as a human being. Have you ever taken a prescription drug that was not prescribed to you? Drank alcohol and driven? Given someone a drug that was prescribed to you to someone else? Are those people addicted to those prescription drugs 'bad' people? I realize it is very easy to judge others and life situations that we may not relate to personally, but we need to remember, none of us are perfect, without faults of our own. Also remember, there are many of these *bad, worthless* people that hold down jobs and are productive members of society. Just because they haven't been caught doesn't mean they don't exist. As for our wasted tax dollars..the waste is in the lengthy prison sentences. How about a different approach since it seems to me this isn't effective in rehabilitating anyone. How about offering some hope and education rather than dispair. How about holding the light at the end of the tunnel for someone that perhaps for one reason or another made a bad decision and traveled down the wrong path? When standing in as judge, jury and executioner lets search our memory bank of our own deeds and see if we are really above reproach
Good point jck!! They shouldnt be allowed to associate and I would like to to know why the court modified george's condition of bond. Initially he had to do drug screening every three days... now it is random... and I would be willing to bet it is because he is a truck driver and can't get in every three days and how is that fair to anyone else's conditions?? I have reported weird smells in the neighborhood as well as finding needles in the yard of a apartment complex and nothing was done! Even though there was a known junkie in the place! I don't get it!
IDOTS WE ARE THE ONES TELLING THE TRUTH........ WHEN THEY SEND THESE PEOPLE DOWN FOR 10 YEARS OR SO THEN WE CAN SAY THANK YOU AND GOOD JOB
STILL THEN I DONT SEE ANY GOOD JOB THAT THEY DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The meth labs were reported and the bad guy are not where they belong, there out on bond or probation or parole. Read the news about george and then tell me its not favortism.
I would like to know if jck bothered to contact anyone when he/she apparently knew the neighbor was harboring a meth lab in the neighborhood? I don't understand why you pick stories where the people are IN JAIL where they belong and insult our local law enforcement. If they were so awful....wouldn't the bad guys still be out there doing what they do? As far as Jerry George goes, the way I read the article (and after checking casenet) is that he is out on bond....not out of trouble or in the clear by any means. I'm sure we will be reading of his arrest as soon as they work out the court problem.
Once again I will say it is a miracle these guys continue to show up to work every day in order to protect our sorry butts if this is the thanks they get.
My family and I DO appreciate what you all do and are thankful you are all out there getting these guys off the streets.
Please don't pay attention to these idiots.... GOOD JOB!!
I AGREE WITH JCK WHEN ARE THESE SO CALLED LAW INFORCEMENTS GOING TO STEP UP AND DO THERE JOB NOT TO MENTION THE JUDGE AND PROSCUTOR!! I MEAN THIS IS A WAIST OF OUR TAX DOLLARS... SEEMS LIKE THEY ONLY WORRIED ABOUT OUR DOLLARS AND NOT PUTTING THESE WORTHLESS PEOPLE BEHIND BARS!!!
Drug paraphernalia is illegal, but it is still being sold legally throughout the U.S., right? Same case...they are not allowed to associate, but that alone won't keep them from doing it.
I would like to know why Danny England and Jerry George are aloud to accosiate with each other. Why is jerry george (sherrifs son) not in jail for the meth lad they found at his place. Its a waste of our tax dollars to arrest them and then let them go. Will justice be done? I have 2 kids and live close to jerry george, he belongs in jail with all the other dope heads makeing this stuff. Our county law enforcement is useless, bring in the real law and end this crap.
