Harold D. Kruger Sr., 67, of Glasgow, formerly of Saline County, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Born June 6, 1940, in Saline County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Henry Kruger and Olinda S. Borgman Kruger. He had lived in Glasgow the last six years, moving from Saline County. He worked for Rival Manufacturing Company for 15 years in Sweet Springs and also farmed.
Survivors include three children, David Kruger of rural Slater, Cheryl Willis of Marshall and Darryl Kruger of rural Marshall; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vernon Kruger of Warrensburg and Kenneth Kruger of Marshall; two sisters, Kathryn Blumhorst of Wichita, Kan., and Doris Landreth of Marshall; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Kruger, and two grandchildren.
