Evelyn Long, 100, of Marshall, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon Cancer Center in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Online condolences may be sent to www.campbell-lewis.com.

She was born Feb. 22, 1907, in Montana. In 1931, she married George J. Long, who preceded her in death on April 2, 1975. She had lived in rural Marshall near Fairville since 1931.

Survivors include two nieces, Virginia Hupp and her husband, Alfred, of Marshall and Barbara Freeman of Glendale, Calif.; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
