Steven Wayne Smith, 39, of Sedalia, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Jefferson City.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at the funeral chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Therapy Center, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, 519 S. Ohio, Sedalia, MO 65301.
