Harry L. Clouser Sr., 82, of Marshall, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Union Cemetery. Born Oct. 3, 1925, in Harrisburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy T. Clouser and Ella Elizabeth Sponsler Clouser. On Feb. 16, 1985, he married Lucy Bacon Utlaut, who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall since 1959 and was owner/operator of Clouser Auto Electric. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from the Missouri Army National Guard. He was a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558 and VFW Post 2646 in Marshall.
Additional survivors include two sons, Harry Clouser Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Burleson, Texas, and Mike Clouser and his wife, Gayle, of Marshall; one daughter, Mary Crowder and her husband, Cyrus, of Coatesville, Pa.; one step-daughter, Donna McCord and her husband, Jim, of Marshall; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Katharine McCleary of Jersey Shore, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
