Frank C. McAtee Jr., 68, of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Life Care Center of Carrollton.

Memorial services will be held Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carrollton, with Rev. Ken Criqui officiating. The rosary will be at 10 a.m., with services following at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. The family suggests contributions be made to Mary Austin Home, H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund or St. Mary's Fund in memory of Mr. McAtee. Contributions may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton, MO 64633. He was born March 13, 1939, in Ellsworth, Kan., the son of Frank C. Sr. and Bernice (Talsky) McAtee. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in Fort Hays, Kan., with an accounting degree. He later received a CPA. On July 18, 1981, he married Patricia Diane Stock in Parkville. She survives of the home. He had worked as a CPA for M.L. Wooldridge Company in Carrollton. He was in the United States Army Reserve. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carrollton, and Missouri Public Accountants Association.

Frank is also survived by four children, Michael Scott McAtee and his wife, Patricia, of Dillwyn, Va., Suzette Marie Conder of Marshall, Matthew Carlton McAtee and his wife, Carrie, of Lee's Summit and Lindsay Danielle McAtee of Kansas City; three brothers, Lewis McAtee and his wife, Cindy, of Ellsworth, Kan., Patrick McAtee and his wife, Sandy, of Winfield, Kan., and Mike McAtee and his wife, Sue, of New Castle, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Caitlyn and Kellyn McAtee of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Aubrie and Sierra Cuda of Marshall and Makenzie, Grant and Peyton McAtee of Lee's Summit.

His parents preceded him in death.
