Alice Anne Shelnutt, 92, of rural Malta Bend, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Ashland Healthcare in Ashland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Born June 10, 1915, in Blosser, she was the daughter of the late Irvine E. Blosser, DVM, and Alice B. "Allie" Lantz Blosser. She had lived in rural Malta Bend her entire life, loved to play bridge and belonged to numerous organizations. She was the house mother for Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity at University of Missouri-Columbia for 17 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois Harriman of Ashland; two granddaughters, Elaine Clouser of Ashland and Jeanine Davis and her husband, Mike, of Holts Summit; two great-granddaughters, Alicia Lindenbusch and Sarah Wilkinson; and one great-great-granddaughter, Riley Wilkinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Mitchel F. Geisler.
