Mary Huffman Stolberg, 87, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, Rev. Barry Baugh will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. Born April 16, 1920, in Liverpool, England, she was the daughter of the late George Harold Crowther and Sarah Elizabeth Banks Crowther. On July 15, 1944, she married John L. Huffman, who preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1963. On Oct. 9, 1965, she married Bernard "Barney" Stolberg, who preceded her in death on March 24, 1993. She had lived in Saline County since April of 1946, moving from England, and was a homemaker. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Kathryn "Kay" Kamery of Marshall; five step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one stepson, James Stolberg.
