Newscope/Blackburn to honor Saline County commissioners

The citizens of Blackburn will host a ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Blackburn Community Center.

The purpose of the event is to honor Saline County commissioners Becky Plattner, Norvelle "Brownie" Brown and Dick Hassler.

Donations will be accepted, with proceeds going to Blackburn civic projects.
