Richard Paul "Rick" Warner, 53, of Tilly, Ark., formerly of Alma, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, in Tilly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Waverly Baptist Church in Waverly, with Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Burial will be held in Waverly Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Aversman, Chris Aversman, Scott Warner, Kyle Arnold, Brett Warner and Justin Thompson. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Born Feb. 8, 1954, in Carrollton, he was the son of the late Paul L. Warner and Jean Howery Warner Williamson of Carrollton. He attended school in Waverly and graduated from Santa Fe High School in Alma. He was a member of Waverly Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include his step-father, Bill Williamson of Carrollton; three children, Christine Boehmer of Overland Park, Kan., Brian Warner of Racine, Wis., and Stephanie Warner of Agoura Hills, Calif.; three grandchildren; one brother, Randy Warner of Grand Pass; three sisters, Letha Aversman and Barbara Castle, both of Norborne, and Paulette Gordillo of Grand Pass; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and his grandparents.
