Ada Nichols, 91, of Marshall Junction, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Born Nov. 12, 1916, in Pettis County, she was the daughter of the late Ben Thomas and Nadine Montgomery Thomas. On March 5, 1938, she married Harry Nichols, who preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1971. She had lived in Saline County most of her life and was a retired farmer. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, near Marshall.
Survivors include one son, John "Tony" Nichols and his wife, Nelda, of Marshall Junction; two grandchildren, Leslie Nichols and Doug Nichols; one great-granddaughter, Sydnee Nichols; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Thomas; and one sister, Nellie Jane Taylor.
