An earlier version of this story included a reference to Napton rather than Nelson in the headline. Revised Monday, Dec. 17, at 10:14 p.m.

Four railroad cars of wheat went off the tracks and 350 railroad ties will be replaced as a result of a Union Pacific Railroad accident near Nelson Sunday, Dec. 16, about 9:30 p.m., but no one was injured.

The cars were part of a 94-car train enroute from Colby, Kan., to E. St. Louis, Ill., when the accident occurred between Marshall and Smithton, according to Mark Davis, director of regional public affairs for Union Pacific.

Davis said the cause of the accident is unknown, but that it's expected the track will re-open around midnight Monday, Dec. 17.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
