Monday, December 17, 2007

Annamarie J. Thibeault, 48, and Joseph E. Thibeault, 12, both of Gerome, refused treatment for minor injuries sustained late Saturday afternoon in a one-car accident on Interstate 70, according to a report from Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Thibeault was traveling west on I-70 in a 2002 Chevrolet Camero at about 4:30 p.m. when she lost control on the snow-covered roadway at Blackwater River bridge and struck the bridge wall.

The car received moderate damage, but was driven from the scene. Joseph Thibeault was wearing a safety device; it is unknown whether the driver was. No summons was issued.
