SWEET SPRINGS -- Senior Brett Shoop erupted for 35 points during Green Ridge's 79-69 non-conference win Friday at Sweet Springs. The Tigers (4-1) led by 14 points and halftime 16 points heading into fourth quarter. Senior John Birdwell tallied five of his 17 points down the stretch to hold off the Greyhounds. Sweet Springs (1-3), who took 38 of its 84 shots from three-point range, got 24 points from sophomore Zach Thomas. |
