Grand Pass man receives minor injuries Saturday in accident on U.S. 65

Christopher A. Edwards, 38, of Grand Pass, sustained minor injuries when the 2008 Ford he was driving slid off U.S. Highway 65 at Salt Fork Bridge, striking a guardrail and sliding down an embankment, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at about 8:25 Saturday morning, Dec. 8.

Damage to the vehicle was moderate. Edwards was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall; he was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.

No summons was issued.
