Jerome E. Nichols, 75, of Kansas City, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, with graveside services and burial following at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown.

He was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Boonville, the son of Roy Nichols and Lenora Crockett.

He is survived by one daughter, Joetta Perry of Boonville; his sister, Eva Workcuff of Marshall; five grandchildren; and nieces and a nephew.
