Ronald Daniel Stemmons, 54, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at University of Missouri in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at H.T. May and Son Funeral home in Fayette, with Rev. Stephen Lampkin officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 11, 1953, in Fayette, the son of Robert and Elizabeth Stemmons. He was a member of Mt. Woodland A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Stemmons of the home; his mother, Elizabeth Stemmons of Fayette; two sons, Ryan Stemmons of Florissant and Joshua Stemmons of Marshall; two brothers, Kevin Stemmons of Bartlett, Tenn., and Noble Stemmons of Aurora, Ill.; one sister, Betty Eubanks of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
From Marshall to Fayette take U.S. 240 through Slater and Glasgow and continue on to Fayette. 240 will turn into U.S. 5, stay to right. Pass Dairy Queen on the left and Fayette High School on the right. Go through first stop sign. Continue south until you reach South Park on the left. Turn left here and go one block. Turn right on Tolson Street and go two blocks. Funeral home will be on the left hand side.
From Boonville go north on U.S. 5 though New Franklin. Continue north until you reach Fayette. The first street to the right as you cross the bridge entering Fayette will be South Park. Turn right on South Park and go one block and turn on Tolson Street. Continue south for two blocks. Funeral home will be on the left.
