Darren Keith "Doc" Williams, 45, of Springfield, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev Wayne Doolin officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Born Dec. 4, 1961, in Windsor, he was the son of the late Emory E. Williams and Pauline Mullins Williams Bingham, who survives of Springfield. He had lived in Windsor, Sedalia, Marshall and Kansas City before moving to Springfield and was a member of Open Bible Church in Sedalia.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Harold Bingham of Springfield; three daughters, Ashley Caviness of Marshall, Chasity Williams of Malta Bend and Jessica Williams of Marshall; two grandchildren; two brothers, Daryle Williams of Springfield and Duane Williams of Buffalo; two sisters, Lana Williams of Lee's Summit and Landra Bunge of Springfield; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ann Williams.
