Marshall High School actors to stage 'Grease' Nov. 14-16

Wednesday, November 7, 2007
"Throw your mittens around your kittens!"

Directors Mike Brennan and Ron Sayer invite the community to join Danny, Rizzo, Sandy, Kenickie and the rest of the Pink Ladies and T-Birds in the Marshall High School production of Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey's 1950s musical "Grease."

The show features songs like "Greased Lightning," "Those Summer Nights," and "Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee," made famous in the Paramount Pictures film, as well as songs like "Mooning," and "Rock-n-Roll Party Queen" and others that weren't in the film.

The show will run Nov. 14, 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. each night. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Nov. 17.

Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Tickets can be purchased at the door on the nights of each performance, however since sales are expected to be heavy, the directors suggest patrons call Tammy Johnson at Marshall High School -- (660) 886-2244 -- to reserve tickets.

So get out your poodle skirts, slick back your hair and join us for Grease.
