Francis "Squeaky" Stockman, 86, of Malta Bend, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Malta Bend Cemetery, with Rev. Dave Huck officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be held in Malta Bend Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Born April 26, 1921, in Malta Bend, he was the son of the late Frank Stockman and Bevia Medlin Stockman. On June 7, 1946, he married Katie Clyde, who survives of the home. He had lived in Malta Bend his entire life and was a retired custodian at Malta Bend High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Word War II and a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Anna Lee DeAugustine of Auburn, Wash.; twin sons, Joseph Earl Stockman of Marshall and John Francis Stockman of Malta Bend; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia B. Ricks of Malta Bend and Anna Florence "Doogie" Malter of Malta Bend; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Stockman.
