Thursday, October 25, 2007

Saline County Sheriff's Department officers are looking for a Boonville man in connection with the theft of two vehicles, one a classic 1964 Ford Impala SS owned by Stanley Horman of Sweet Springs, on Tuesday, Oct. 23.

The man is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and 165 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, a goatee and heavily-tattoed arms. He was last seen in the vicinity of Sharon township.

Horman reported the Impala was stolen from his garage while he was at work. The vehicle was recovered at a residence in Sharon Township.

The second stolen vehicle, a yellow F-350 Ford truck owned by Buddy Baldridge of Atchison, Kan., was found abandoned on County Road 324, 50 yards west of Route VV in southwest Saline County.

Sheriff Wally George said anyone with information regarding the thefts or the whereabouts of the suspect should contact his office at (660) 886-5511.
