Anna Margaret Wheeler

Anna Margaret Wheeler, 72, of Sweet Springs, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sweet Springs, with Bishop Carl Branch and Rev. Tim Biesmeyer officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Marshall and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wesley Methodist Church. Burial will be in Salt Pond Cemetery.

Born Sept. 19, 1935, in Nelson, she was the daughter of Robert and Maggie Wright Martin. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Sweet Springs, where she served as church secretary. She was a former member of the Sweet Springs Hospital Board.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Wheeler of Mountain House, Calif., and Dennis Wheeler of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters, Willa Husband of Sweet Springs and Peggy Flowers of Boonville; one sister, Elder Linnie Kerr of Boonville; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
