It was another routine traffic stop and another possible drug bust for the Saline County Sheriff's Department just after midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
Sheriff's deputies stopped a pickup truck headed west on I-70 near the 66-mile-marker because a side taillight lens was broken.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested when deputies spotted a pipe of the type allegedly associated with crack cocaine use in the glovebox as the driver retrieved his proof of insurance.
The suspect is being held at Saline County Justice Center, pending review by the prosecuting attorney's office.
