Lloyd Ken Rogers, 53, of Sedalia, formerly of Marshall, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Belle Cemetery in Ethel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born July 8, 1954, in Kirksville, he was the son of Carl Edwin Rogers, who survives of Chillicothe, and the late Margaret "Jean" Grugin Rogers Coleman. He was a 1972 graduate of Hardin Central High School and was married to Ramona Rae Benn, who survives. He had lived in Sedalia the last six years, previously living in Kansas City and Marshall. He had worked at Banquet Foods in Carrollton for 15 years, Wilson's in Marshall for three years and then at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City for 10 years.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Jean Ann Rogers of Maysville; one son, Darrell Rogers of Marshall; three grandchildren; three sisters, Diane Duncan of Richmond, Elizabeth Ann Waddell of Lexington and Carlene June Carrillo of Hardin; one brother, Larry Gene Rogers of Kansas City; and nieces and nephews.
