William C. "Bill" Toliver, 64, of Malta Bend, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Bob Stewart officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Grand Pass Community Cemetery. Born Aug. 2, 1943, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Carl E. Toliver and Ora Martz Toliver. On Sept. 6, 1995, he married Janet Aversman Crowell, who survives of the home. He had lived in Malta Bend most of his life and was retired from Frito-Lay. He was a member of Mt. Leonard Baptist Church. He spent winters in Okeechobee, Fla., and he loved to fish and hunt.
Additional survivors include his six children, Rich Crowell of Orlando, Fla., Kris Plummer of Marshall, Joy Quinn and her husband, Tim, of Faulkton, S.D., Will Toliver and his wife, Shawn, of Independence, Amy Sue Wise and her husband, Sam, of Sedalia and Bobbi Linn Duffey and her husband, Kyle, of Houstonia; 26 grandchildren; one brother, Jack Toliver of Malta Bend; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Hotchkiss.
