A story Tuesday, Sept. 25, included two reports from the Saline County Sheriff's Department, one regarding a Nelson woman arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and another about an unrelated shoplifting incident. Regan D. Cornine was not involved in the shoplifting case.

The Marshall Democrat-News regrets any confusion caused by the story.

A story Tuesday, Sept. 18, about a Slater man arrested for allegedly attempting to flee officers to avoid arrest incorrectly referred to the 17-year-old suspect as a juvenile. According to police, 17-year-olds are not considered juveniles.
