Lloyd W. Frakes, 59, of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, while fishing.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. Visitation will be Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Park Cemetery, Carrollton. Memorials to family choice may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton, MO 64633.
Born Aug. 25, 1948, he was the son of James Lincoln and Mildred Persinger Frakes. He received his education at Waverly Public School. He was a member of Waverly Baptist Church. He was a maintenance worker for ConAgra in Carrollton and Marshall for 39 years. On June 3, 1967, he was united in marriage to Emma J. Parsons. On Feb. 21, 1970, he was united in marriage to Rosemary A. Pelican in Carrollton.
He is survived by one son, Troy Frakes of Carrollton; one daughter, Terri Renee Grosso of California; one stepdaughter, Linda Eckhoff of LaMonte; one stepson, Terry Lee Albrecht of Marshall; two brothers, Raymond Frakes of Bosworth and Floyd James Frakes of Carrollton; 11 grandchildren, Brandon L. Albrecht, Jacob A. Looney, Cassie Frakes, Andrew Frakes, Scotty Frakes, Jimmy Henshaw, Heather Henshaw, Sharon Grosso, Kelly Grosso, Kayla Grosso and Nicholas Nolke; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; one uncle; one aunt; and one nephew.
