PRAIRIE HOME -- Senior Krissie Kennedy had three hits and drove in five runs Thursday to lead Prairie Home to a 10-0, five-inning non-conference victory over the visiting Slater softball team.

Kennedy's three-run homer in the third inning extended the Lady Panthers' 2-0 lead. She also had RBI singles in the second and fourth frames, the latter following senior Ashley Coffelt's two-run triple.

Junior Ashley Baker fired a two-hit shutout for Prairie Home (7-6), striking out six.

The Lady Wildcats were hoping to add a second win this season after beating Keytesville, 8-1, Saturday in the Fayette Tournament, and didn't hurt themselves with errors -- committing only two for one unearned run.

Freshman Marissa Weiher and sophomore Hannah Doherty each singled for Slater (1-11), which plays Saturday in the Lone Jack Tournament.
