Nora Mae Langlotz, 83, of Marshall, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Born Dec. 19, 1923, in Centertown, she was the daughter of the late Joe Syrus Birge and Amanda Jane Johnson Birge. In 1953, she married John Langlotz, who preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1964. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and worked at ConAgra until retiring in 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Leona Hunt and her husband, Ross, of Marshall and Joyce Hildebrand and her husband, Wilbert, of Concordia; three sons, Wayne Hein and his wife, Chris, of Roanoke, Va., David Hein of Marshall and Michael Langlotz and his wife, Amy, of Glen Rock, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her companion, Richard "Dick" Gadberry of the home; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Langlotz; and 10 brothers and sisters.
