Ora Mae Perry, 96, of Eufaula, Okla., formerly of Marshall, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at McAlester Regional Hospital in McAlester, Okla.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Marshall Senior Center. Online condolences may be sent to www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Oct. 8, 1910, in Edwards, she was the daughter of the late Albert G. Burton and Dora M. Smith Burton. On June 21, 1933, in Kansas City, she married Charles M. Perry, who preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1971. She had lived in Marshall most of her life, where she worked as a nurse's aide at Marshall Habilitation Center, retiring in 1975. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Marshall and its Loyalty Sunday School class.
Survivors include one daughter, Myrna Offill and her husband, Al, of Eufaula, Okla.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Junior Burton of Tonasket, Wash.; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, one sister and one grandson.
