The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Monday, Aug. 27, that U.S. 65 at Clyde's Corner between Marshall and Malta Bend will be closed to all traffic beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7.
The closure will continue throughout the weekend. The highway should be reopened by 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, according to the MoDOT officials.
The improvements at Clyde's Corner include constructing nearly 1,050 feet of new roadway, as well as a new intersection for Route N and County Road 421 to soften the sharp curve east of Malta Bend.
Access to County Road 421 has been closed at U.S. 65 and will continue to be closed for the duration of the project.

Trash pick-up schedule changed for Labor Day week in Marshall
All residential trash pick-up routes will be postponed one day the week of Sept. 3 - 7 due to the Labor Day holiday, according to Marshall Municipal Services officials.
The Marshall brush and compost area will also be closed Monday, Sept. 3.
