Hodge, of Kansas City, has focused her interests in art, historic preservation and archaeology since graduating from Central Missouri University in 1944 with degrees in English and art. During all of her endeavors in life, she never stopped painting. This exhibit features her paintings. Hodge has a special interest in American Indian culture, which can be observed in her collection of Indian artifacts exhibited in three houses she restored in Arrow Rock. Her work with the Historic Arrow Rock Council and the Friends of Arrow Rock have helped make this historical community a vibrant center of the arts.
